The heavy weight satin on this 1950's Petal Bust Dress is simply luscious! You just don't fint this quality of satin today.

Dress comes with the original matching shrug. It has a cross-over design that secures with snaps.

Wide, fitted midriff band and deep, softly inverted pleats add fullness to this full skirted dress.







This dress has the Jays Boston Wellesley tag. There is no size tag present. The interior of the bodice is fully boned for support. The seams are pinked, it has a metal rear zipper that is in working order. Attached crinoline net has lost it's original crispness.


Condition


The dress is in Very Good Vintage Condition. Other than the loss of crispness to the crinoline, there is nothing that detracts from this remarkable dress..
