An elegant surviving example of an 1880's Mantle.

Elaborate jet beading over a silk faille base. The mantle is lined in black sisilk.

Elegant draped strands of beads at the shoulders.

Condition

This Mantle is in Good Vintage Condition..This mantle has points of shatter to the faille and bead loss, both in the fringe, and the bead appliqués. Still, a fine example of a period mantle.

Measurements for this item will be available upon request. Due to the fragile nature of the bead work, I do not recommend this garment for wear.
